The Hotel Rio overlooks Campo San Filippo and Giacomo less than a hundred metres from the famous Saint Mark’s Square and very near the San Zaccaria vaporetto stop.

For short periods, the hotel was also the home of the musician Antonio Vivaldi.

The Hotel Rio has 36 rooms, the majority of which have a TV, telephone, air conditioning, safe, mini-bar and hairdryer.

The buffet breakfast is served in a room in the Bar Europa Vini & Caffè, which overlooks the same square. The Europa is ideal for a quiet break or a quick breakfast, brioches, rolls, a cappuccino or an aperitif. Tastings of top wines are occasionally organized here and they are attended by local gourmets.
