Meet our Hostess in
the lobby of your hotel for departure on a private motorboat for
the islands.
You will first visit Murano island,
very famous for its glassworks. Here, you can observe a real
glassmaking shop as they work on hand-blown glass in real
time.
Continuing on to the North of the Lagoon, we will
reach the picturesque island of Burano, characterized
by strong contrasts of light and color, an island of fishermen and
lace makers.
Finally, we will arrive to the nearby island of
Torcello, where time seems to have stopped. Although
there is hardly anyone left living here, which boasts rich vegetation
typical of the lagoon, this island preserves the most ancient monument
of the lagoon: the majestic Basilica of Santa Maria Assunta and
the famous throne of Attila.
