Fusina Terminal
Located on the Venetian mainland,
Fusina is about 20 minutes from Piazzale Roma. The terminal is modern, well-connected, and equipped for the boarding of large cruise ships. From here, cruises mainly depart towards the Mediterranean and the Adriatic. The port overlooks the southwest lagoon, a few kilometers from Mestre and Marghera.
Chioggia Terminal
The small port city of
Chioggia, nicknamed "Little Venice," is located in the southern part of the lagoon. Its cruise terminal operates for medium and large vessels. It is located in the Commercial Port of Val da Rio, easily reachable by car from Venice in about 1h15. The town is charming, full of bridges, canals, and authentic local atmosphere.
Trieste Terminal
The port of
Trieste is one of the most important in the Northeast. Cruise ships usually depart from the
Molo Bersaglieri, located in the heart of the city center, a short walk from Piazza Unità d’Italia. The car journey from Piazzale Roma to Trieste takes about 2h15. A perfect option for those combining a cruise and a cultural visit.
Ravenna Terminal
The
Ravenna Cruise Port is located in Porto Corsini, about 13 km from the city center. Cruises depart from the
Porto Corsini Cruise Terminal, well-equipped for international boarding. The distance from Venice is about 2h30 by private car. Ravenna is famous for its Byzantine mosaics and historical charm.
