The Doge's Palace represented for centuries the home of the Venetian political power. In his splendid rooms immersed in hundreds of masterpieces of painting, the Duke and his Council controlled the history of a thousand-year history republic.Your guide will take you through the "Corridors of Power" of a very particular historical period: the European Middle Ages and after. You’ll be surprised by the rich details of the gold staircase, the realism of the scenes depicted by many artists who have decorated this building and by the many work of art here located.
